Major Projects Completed

  • Organized and hosted Impact Investing Forum 2013: Accelerating the Industry Regionally, Asia’s first regional impact investing forum that was attended by over 350 participants from 10 countries across Asia (including China, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam & Cambodia) - March 2013.
  • Administered, on behalf of the Rockefeller Foundation, a US$400,000 Impact Economy Innovations Grant Fund for intermediaries to catalyze collective action and regional market developments to advance social and charitable goals such as relieving poverty and promoting sustainable development.  Attracted over 40 applications from 9 Asian countries – April to November 2013.
  • Completed EngageHK, an 18-month mapping initiative to identify gaps in the Hong Kong social sector. Published a 60-page report Mind the Gap: Lessons and Findings from EngageHK after conducting over 100 one-on-one interviews and four workshops with practitioners and thought leaders representing government, nonprofits, foundations, family offices, social enterprises, universities, corporations and intermediaries – February 2012 to July 2013.
  • Completed Adopting the London Principles: Policy Considerations to Grow Impact Investing in Hong Kong, a research paper on the role of government to support impact investing - July 2014.
